We recently completely rebuilt our deck and added a roof. We were 100% satisfied with our experience with Smoky Mountain Deck Builders. From design to the finished deck everyone we dealt with at Smoky Mountain Deck Builders was responsive, professional, and nice to work with. Nick helped us with design and gave us some ideas we had not thought about. Other contractors had told us that we could not do a covered deck because of our roof line but Nick showed us a way to do it and it looks awesome. The estimate that Nick gave us for the job is exactly what we paid, no up charges, additional fees, or add ons. Flip and his crew did the framing and the build out of the deck. The construction is solid and this deck will last much longer than our previous deck. Flip was easy to work with and and kept us informed during the build. His crew was prompt daily and once the job was done the site was cleaned as if we had not had a construction crew on site for 2 weeks. Gina consistently communicated with us to keep us up to date on progress and always was prompt in answering our questions. She knows customer service. We highly recommend Smoky Mountain Deck Builders. They are not the the cheapest but they are the best. You get what you pay for with them and that is quality work done by professional people.

Nick and his team really went the extra mile to rebuild our deck in a short amount of time. We live overseas most of the year and didn't realize our deck was in such bad shape until we came home for the summer. We had less than 3 weeks to get the work scheduled and completed before we had to go back overseas. Even though Smoky Mountain Decks was already scheduled out until December, they made room for us and managed to finish our deck within days of our departure. The new deck is well built and looks fabulous now. I was impressed by the professionalism of the crew and their building expertise. They measured everything to exact precision and had clever solutions for working around defects in our original house construction that affected the deck (like exterior walls that were off by up to 3/4 of an inch in places). Once the guys were on the job, they really flew and were able to finish it much faster than we expected. We really appreciate the hard work these guys put into making us happy.
