Motel 6 Athens

Very clean, large room with a long counter to put everything. It was very quiet. Rooms opened to a hallway inside the hotel instead of to the outside. My room had a screened window that I could open. I've never seen that in a motel before and it was great to get fresh air. The service was very fast and efficient, and the price is excellent. I'd stay here again. You're within walking distance to a couple of restaurants, and Walmart is just a couple miles down the road. They serve coffee in the lobby, but no breakfast. I recommend you walk to Shoneys for an inexpensive buffet breakfast.
