Luther's Liquors

I'm not even close to a wine person. I personally don't drink wine. When hosting a gathering I always go to Luther's for three reasons: 1) Knowledgeable staff - every time I have gone there and I have been buying for different people with varying tastes (some like red and others a moscato, etc.) The staff explains the differences in the wine selection for the particular type (red versus white) and tells me about the regions and differences in grapes to educate me on the different flavors and "experience" when drinking the wine. They have taught me how to store the wine and make even the last glass as good as the first. 2) The selection is great - bad for me because I stand there going well which one do I get? The staff comes to the rescue; they don't point me to the most expensive bottle, which they could easily do since I know nothing about wine. They tend to always be in stock on whatever people are looking for, which is kudos to the staff on ensuring they have the handle on the hot "brands" or regions I guess (I don't really know how to say that) 3) Pricing for me has never been a problem. I have been to the grocery stores and bought a bottle that I knew my friends liked and I paid close to the same as at Luther's. In my estimation I'll pay the extra $1 or $2 for the bottle of wine to be confident that what I am getting is going to be a hit - the grocery stores can't top the knowledgeable staff or the selection.
