I am very disappointed in my experience with Learning Zone. I paid to reserve a spot for my newborn in January and was told at that time that there was no waiting list for my desired start date. When I informed the staff my son was born in April and would be ready to start in July, I was told that there was a wait list and they'd "keep an eye on the roster" and let me know when he could start. I responded back asking for clarification, because I had another email that specifically said there would be no wait list as I had already paid the first week's tuition, and I sent the AD a screenshot of that email. Almost two days go by and no one calls or emails me with additional information, so I call the center and am told they'll "look into it." At this point, I don't like the tone of voice or they way I'm being spoken to--like they're doing me a "favor" by honoring what I was already told. In the end, they "found" a spot for my son, but I had already started the process of enrolling him elsewhere because I couldn't risk not having care lined up. I asked for my money to be refunded due to the circumstances and was told that it was non-refundable (after waiting two weeks to hear from someone), which I think is so unethical. And just to be clear, I understand that mistakes happen, but my issue was with the way the situation was handled, not the situation itself. Had the AD actually seemed apologetic in the slightest or exhibited any customer service skills whatsoever, my son would probably still be attending; however, i lost confidence in the administration and didn't want to find out things were worse once he got started.
