I see a few reviews saying the sales staff is shady and people are mad because there is a cancellation fee. To that let me say 2 things: Caveat Emptor or Buyer Beware , and quit blaming others for your lack of knowledge. If you are signing a contract, you dang sure better know the ins and outs and ask the right questions - on any purchase. I have had heart surgery and sports injuries, so one of the first questions I asked was about the cancellation or suspension. I was fully informed. I knew there was a $10 a month suspense fee and $99 to buy out. A small price to pay for cancelling a contract. I looked at 6 other gyms - including 3 LA Fitness Gyms and this was the one that was most honest with me and was clean, and had a staff that I had some rapport with - and trust me, rapport is 90% of it. You want to know that you can have a conversation with these folks and ask questions, but realize they do have a job to do as well, and that's called keep the lights on. All in all, I'm not scared of the people that attend, I see folks that are gaining muscle mass (unlike Galaxy Fatness that has Pizza and bagel days), and it has my basic needs: It's clean, pool, sauna, free classes, knowledgeable staff and reasonable hours in a convenient location.

Great place if you are looking for more than just weights and machines. The racquetball courts are always available for playing. The basketball court is usually in use but they have pickup games. Several options for indoor activities. Heated 3 lane pool, Large hot tub and dry sauna. Clean showers for after workout.
